The Old Coach House is a typical Dorset cottage, built of stone which makes it cool in the summer and cosy in the colder months. Traditional features such as the living room wood burner sit side by side with modern additions, like oil-fired central heating, the LCD television, wireless broadband connection and the contemporary, well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. Up to eight or nine people can be accomodated in the cottage's four comfortable bedrooms (two with televisions), and both the sun room and back garden are great places to enjoy the weather and the surrounding countryside views. The Old Coach House is situated on a pleasant triangular green, close to Bridge Farm, with good access to the roads out of the Village in all directions, and has private parking for three cars.
The kitchen and adjacent utility room are equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and electric cooker. One of the four bedrooms is located on the ground floor, and one bathroom features a walk-in shower, making life easier for people with mobility difficulties. The Old Coach House has been awarded four stars by the English Tourist Board.
