As diverse as it is beautiful, there is plenty to occupy lovers of the countryside, fine dining, culture and entertainment, crafts and curiosity shopping, and much more besides. Its southern border is the famous Jurassic coast, a World Heritage Site and a paradise for fossil hunters of all ages and experience levels and a wonderful place to take advantage of the region's temperate climate for a spot of sunbathing.
